Hard to pin it down to one so I'm not going too! Hahaha! I loved New Zealand, Thailand a lot, Vietnam, Japan, and Korea was a wonderful surprise. But the Philippines has a special place in my heart
WHAT PLACE IS TOP OF YOUR BUCKET LIST?
Bucket list destination? Would have to be Antarctica. After 2 years in Asia I'm hankering after some cold weather!
WHAT CAN'T YOU TRAVEL WITHOUT?
My Sony Z1 mobile phone. But not for internet or keeping in contact... It's my camera and music player. You need a soundtrack when you're on the move
DO YOU PREFER SOLO TRAVEL OR WITH SOMEONE ELSE?
Definitely solo. You can always meet people along the way. But it's a luxury, making decisions without having to please anyone but yourself
WHO IS THE PERSON AT HOME THAT YOU MISS THE MOST?
My kids. Well, their hardly kids anymore, but I do miss them desperately
WHICH COUNTRY HAS THE MOST FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE?
Philippines and Japan
WHO IS THE MOST INTERESTING PERSON YOU'VE MET SO FAR?
There's been so many. Long term fellow travelers always have the most interesting reasons for stopping their careers or lives back home to embark on this great adventure...
WHAT'S BEEN YOUR SCARIEST MOMENT?
Hmmm, been a few, but narrowly missing a gigantic kangaroo hypnotised by my motorcycle lights, on the approach to Bright in Victoria, Australia, was pretty scary. So was an earthquake in Dumaguete whilst on the 4th floor roof terrace of my hostel
WHAT IS YOUR MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT?
Coming off my motorcycle in a motel car park in front of a bunch of Aussie firefighters who'd invited me to a BBQ. They ripped the piss out of me all night!

Take your time. It's not a race

The annual drive I'd make with my parents to Spain to visit family. A great road trip full of happy memories

Love, romance and self discovery
WHAT TRAVEL SCAMS HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT?
I've been very lucky and not experienced many scams. I'm pretty intuitive and can spot when someone's trying to rip me off. A smile, and a 'no thank you' gets you out of anything dodgy... Usually!

I consider myself a traveller
STRICT SCHEDULE OR GO WITH THE FLOW?
Easy! Go with the flow

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN 3 WORDS?
Open, Adventurous, Positive
WHAT CAN YOU ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO WANTED TO START TRAVELING?
Just do it! Start small if necessary, then expand to bigger trips... There's an amazing world out there waiting to be explored. Life's too short, so go see it!
TRAVELING brings us love, joy, it changes our beliefs and perceptions in life. It can make us better and stronger people. Through TRAVELING we learn to love, to forgive. to broaden our horizons. The best part of TRAVELING is to meet people along the way with whom we share stories, with whom we become friends, for that moment and possibly forever.
