Solo is great as your free to make friends with everyone you meet and go with the wind. Traveling together is often an easy way to ruin a friendship.

I've always travelled. Home is where I lay my hat. I don't miss people, I look forward to seeing them.

Thailand, hands down.

A crazy Scottish couple that had all sorts of party tricks and games and jokes that went on forever with no punchline. He lost his passport and started working for food, board and drugs.

Nearly falling into a waterfall in Chiang Mai. Came pretty close to death, it changed me.

I was born without a sense of shame. My dancing should be an embarrassment, but it's my badge of honor.

Condoms, when you need them, you never regret them.

As an entrepreneur, I'm always chasing dreams. I suppose my dream is to wake up for a bit!

I'd love to live in America or maybe Canada.

Go alone, or with a local friend. learn a bit of the local language. Go where the locals go and make friends. If you go with a group, plan to spend some days apart. There is no need to join at the hip!

I vividly remember moving house in England during a flood. The cats jumping around the car and water seeping in through the door.

That our differences only exist superficially and that deep down we're all driven by the same hopes and fears. That most fears are irrational. The worst that an happen is that you learn something
IF YOU WROTE A NOVEL, WHAT WOULD IT BE ABOUT?
I'm already working on a book about dating in
Asia. I'm tempted to make it a work of fiction, it's the only way to make it believable.
WHAT TRAVEL SCAMS HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT?
In Vietnam and Cambodia, I've heard everyone is out to get your money. In Pattaya, people marry a prostitute a quarter of their age, put a house in her name and then think they've been scammed. Not really, they just thought with the wrong head for a long time.
DO YOU CALL YOURSELF A TOURIST OR A TRAVELLER?
I'm neither really, more of an expat or an international citIzen. I like working holidays, to stay somewhere long enough to really get a feel for the place.
STRICT SCHEDULE OR GO WITH THE FLOW?
I totally go with the flow. I will arrive without a hotel booked, having never looked at a guidebook.

Fresh fruit, sold by the orchard is amazing.
WHAT WAS THE MOST CHALLENGING THING YOU'VE DONE?
Going bankrupt at 26, moving to the north of Thailand with no money and starting alone from 0. Great adventure that I hope to never repeat.

Absolutely! These days, it's all love and interconnectedness. Friendships are dictated by geography, but it's only a matter.of time.

Waking up on the deck of a boat with dolphins swimming in the boat's wake, catching flying fish. Win.

Anyone could annoy me after 2 weeks.of travel. If they don’t, I'd marry them.

To travel the world using every form.of transportation except planes, making a youtube channel and making friends everywhere I go.
